Massaging with crystals combines the relaxing benefits of massage with the healing vibrations of crystals and can give an experience that relaxes and balances the whole body. Crystal massage can be performed on yourself or on another person or animal.

When performing crystal massage choose smooth crystals that glide easily over the skin, such as tumble stones, palm stones, spheres or the smooth end of a wand.

One of my favourite crystals to use is Clear Quartz because it contains all the colours of the spectrum and heals at all levels. However, crystals can also be chosen to treat specific problems; some of these are listed below:

I recommend that crystal massage on the body is performed over a thin layer of clothing to prevent the crystal from dragging against the skin and causing discomfort.

Problem skin - Rose Quartz will help sooth the skin

Headaches - circle Amethyst around the temples and forehead and over the scalp

Sinus problems and colds - circle Fluorite around the sides of your nose, temples, forehead and across your eyebrow

Stress - circle Clear Quartz over the shoulders and shoulder blades.

Preparing your crystal

Once you have chosen your crystal follow the steps below:

Step 1: Cleanse your crystal

Step 2: Dedicate your crystal

Hold you crystal and visualise white light surrounding it. State clearly “ I dedicate this crystal to the highest good to be used in love and light“

If you have trouble visualising just say the words, the intention will work just as well.

Step 3: Programme your crystal

Sit quietly where you will not be disturbed, hold your crystal in the palm of your hand either hand is fine but i use my left hand try to imagine a white light connecting you to your crystal, let yourself be attuned to its energy and feel the calmness of the stone.

When you feel ready clearly say “ I intend this crystal to be an effective healing tool”

Say this intention three times and then place your crystals down before using.

Remember to cleanse, dedicate and programme your crystal regularly as a crystal’s energy may become depleted with use and it will need recharging just like you do

The Crystal Massage Technique

Sit quietly and imaging a white light surrounding you or both of you if working in pairs even distant healing this will work . Circle your crystal 3 times anti-clockwise to release any negative energy. Now simply place the crystal lightly on the skin and make small clockwise circles over it. Do not press down hard.

Sometimes you may find an area where the skin feels rough or less smooth. If you do, hold the crystal in that position for a while before continuing with circular motions around the area. I have found that when an area “feels different” my clients often say that this area is painful. It is therefore best to just hold the crystal still or to apply very light pressure on these areas.

After receiving a massage your should sit quietly for a while and then wiggle your toes and fingers to help you to feel grounded again and to prevent feelings of having a ‘fuzzy’ head. Drink a glass of water and sit and reflect on how you felt during and after the crystal massage session.

Working With Selenite

Selenite is a 'Light' stone, a gentle soothing stone and a powerful expander both spiritually and mentally and is my favourite of all the crystals, It is a stone of communication and a carrier of light and understanding. Many people consider Selenite to be an important stone for a new age and sensitive users will find 'light' shone on many buried secrets and mysteries by working with Selenite.

Selenite is a calming crystal that instils peace and is an excellent stone for meditation. Holding a piece of Selenite in the hand is said to help drain any negative energy from the body while a large piece of Selenite placed in the house is said to ensure a peaceful atmosphere.

Selenite can be brittle and may dissolve when wet. It is therefore advisable to use a method of crystal cleansing that doesn't involve water.Even thinking negative thoughts or handling it roughly will cause it to splinter or break.

Selenite can be used to send messages and images to a particular person, but when working like this you will need plenty experience and always remember to hold the piece of Selenite to your third eye when you intend for this to occur. This is a wonderful way to send healing and protection to family, friends, groups, populations or the world at large. Selenite can be used in healing with other crystals Selenite is so powerful and needs to be used in the proper ways and means so as not to disrupt the healings own energetic system. I do sleep with my Selenite under my pillow so that I can receive the energies and knowledge transmissions during the night. I do allow my Selenite to receive natural light during the day each day. It seems to need natural sunlight. I have learned many things during my work with Selenite, some things I do not even understand fully,but always treat it with respect

It is perfect for conducting healing, protective and loving energy through. It is important to note that this should be done after some experience with Selenite, and others crystal energies. Selenite intensifies and focuses the healing energy into a direct white laser stream, perfect for creating a 'grid' around an area with light. By tracing the corners and wall-meetings of a room, or edges of a garden, Selenite will set a protective boudary of light, purity and peace.

It is advisable also to work outdoors in Nature with Selenite, or with other much more grounding crystal energies, and do conscious grounding of your energy afterwards. selenite is

This crystal is not to be used without understanding and care. Many changes will occur within your body system, that is physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.you will pick up on others emotions but you must desire this transmission of light energy and be ready to process these changes into your being. If you are meant to work with this crystal, you will feel the calling to do so. Do not purchase one out of mere curiosity or for fun. I only give selenite to good owners who are willing to work daily with them, to respect their energy and work in co-operation with them and me, not to merely put them aside in a box or drawer. That would be a disservice to the Selenite and to Mother Earth and indeed to yourself and me.
